This passage in Pluto’s cave reminds me of a bean. This cave has been used and abused by party goers and others for years and has a vast amount of graffiti all up and down the walls. This passage is near the back and has only a small amount of vandalism as compared to other areas.
The caving group which I used to go on trips with often does a cleanup every year and the cave seems to be cleaner every year. Less people are trashing it and we think it must be an effect of seeing that somebody is taking care of it. If you see a trashed place why would you take care of it, why not add to the problem. That is the thinking that seems to have been going on. With our efforts it seems cleaner every year and that is a good thing.
